Pandemic Gray and Bright Yellow 2021 is a digital painting by hand with an iPad and pen using the Pantone colors of 2021. Appropriate colors for the climate. Up one minute with hope, down the next with new strains emerging. Many gray areas, yet always some glimmer of hope which is needed. As a retired nurse who worked through the AIDS epidemic, I say we will get through this just as we did then and there will be effective treatment that will be developed just as it did back then. It did not happen overnight, but it did evolve where people now with HIV live normal lives with normal life expectancies. We never lose hope. We didn't lose hope back then and we will not lose hope now as technology has made many advances since then and it will do so again. This too shall pass....remember an attitude of gratitude keeps us grounded and allows us to live in this moment for every breath we take is a gift. Stay safe and well and blessed.
